Lonavala !! Gr8 place

Welcome to the enthralling world of virtual tourism to experience vicarious titillation and excitement :) . To be candid, this journey was an awesome byproduct of sudden adrenaline jump...
Back from mundane, onerous office hours, I was relaxing and enjoying music in my flat. Suddenly, my cousin showed up and started convincing me for night drive to "Lonavala". The name was enough to instill thrill and excitement but fatigue was taking toll on me. But, as usual, I succumbed to his request and five of us started our journey...
We had hardly moved 8 Kms when it started raining. But instead of dampening our zeal, it freaked us to wade through, with more enthusiasm. It was a great driving pleasure. We finally arrived at the exciting stretch of serpentine road, ascending to ambey valley, a city patronized by richies. It wasn't my first travel through such terrain but something was different this time. Road was covered with mist and drizzles were pouring down. We found it irresistible to stop midway and enjoy the cold breeze and shower. We captured the beauty in our cam and started navigating further upwards. Fog was getting dense and so was mesmerizing effect. Finally finding it hard to sit back in car, we jumped out and started bathing and enjoying in the rain. I am wordless for the kind of anodyne experience we were going through. The only thing one could have missed there was nothing. That one awe inspiring moment was worth anything. Senses were trying to fathom every nuance of nature but eyes would hardly reconcile. It was really hard to hold back. Every moment was worth capturing and thankfully we had waterproof cam...
Finally, with half hearted, we had to return back. we started descending with loads of memories and a pinch of fear instilled by declivity and sharp turns. But, thankfully, man at wheel was composed enough to drive sensibly. We explored few other places on the way, as we had enough of energy still left. In an hour we were back at home with intangible proof of lonavala beauty. It should come as no surprise if I again plan a trip to lonavala without giving a second thought.

Wow!! Here comes monsoon

This blog is rather compulsion than fun. I couldn't resist my urge to express my feelings and experience, cultivated in last few days. When I was relentlessly grappling with swelter and concomitant annoyance, suddenly one day I got drenched with showers, a great respite to me....
It wasn't as if I experienced it for first time, but surely it was different. Greenery spreads its arm and pollution has started taking back seat. Atmosphere is draped in a blanket of colorful blooming flowers and their smell is permeating not only air but also the soul of people. The mountain ranges wrapped in mist and drizzle render everyone awestruck. I sometimes deem myself way out of this world, flying high with fragrant breeze....
I, invariably, enjoy this spellbinding picturesque beauty and anodyne experience of drizzles, ensconced in chair with mellifluous classics in background to satiate my senses and a cup of tea to keep warm. And how to expect all this without a pinch of gossip with friends?? Luckily I have got friends who would assent to me. To be candid, Some of us even think of enjoying a football game under monsoon showers. Is not it exciting?? Don't know about rest of the world, but to me, it is....
Some may find this blog a push to their unconscious urge to swoop in drizzles, and on other hand some might take it as my futile attempt to compel them to embrace monsoon. But to tell you truth, it's a god gifted phenomenon not only for agrarian purpose but also to make humans romance with nature. And needless to tell, no time will come again in this irreversible time cycle. Few years down the line, you will reminisce your experience, share with your loved ones, and will realize that what you did was no mistake....
